Agile Project Manager responsible for the delivery of Robotics solutions to support HMRC operations.The goal is to deliver high value solutions to provide FTE savings for HMRC.As a Project Manager within this area, I am responsible for the end to end delivery of projects from conception to implementation.Savings ideas are subject to Pre-Discovery and Discovery phases, to first understand the potential value of each project, before following the Agile build methodology into Live. Delivering Online Portal and Legacy solutions for HMRC; supporting their legislative changes, key business events and peak periods.HMRC have strong focus on their GDS (Government Digital Strategy), as they acknowledge digitising their services enables them to be able to connect with their customers more quickly and easily. As a result of being able to share information more easily, customers are more able to achieve deadlines set by the government.As an Agile Project Manager in this area, delivery of services is fast paced and centered around legislative deadlines.Responsibilities include:- Owning customer engagement/relationship- Financials- End to end project delivery- Project team management (personnel)- Risk & issue managementKey Projects:- Self Assessment peak (January).During this this period, HMRC expel a lot of energy and resource to ensure as many customers compete their tax returns on time.I was responsible for customer communication. Delivering the following notifications to all SA taxpayers:- New Self Assessment Peak letter (customised for each recipient).- Customised SMS text messages to taxpayers (working with a third party supplier).- Customised emails to taxpayers.This project was delivered in the space of one month and resulted in over 10 million tax returns submitted on time. This was a record for HMRC.- Construction Industry SchemeThis was a 1200 manday project, delivering major legislative enhancements to the Construction Industry monthly tax return process. One of the major changes consisted of digitilising the returns process and removing paper based returns.The project entailed changes to multiple services and interfaces, including:- Public facing internet services.- Backend legacy systems.- Interfaces.- Batch functions.- Online messages.

Pega Project Manager delivering many Pega solutions across HMRC account.Deliveries included:- New services/systems- Enhancements & Maintenance to existing services- Full tech refreshes - including full major upgrade of Pega software.HMRC Services Managed:- Caseflow- NPS Work Management- MDTS- CMS/WMS- CMAResponsibilities include:- Owning customer engagement/relationship- Financials- End to end project delivery- Project team management (personnel)- Risk & issue managementProjects have been delivered using both Agile monthly incremental releases and large waterfall releases.

Delivered a brand new Pega incident reporting system for Heathrow airport.This was the first Pega CPM implementation for the aviation industry.Building a strong working relationship with Capgemini Heathrow, and third party PegaSystems, the brand new application was delivered in 12 weeks.As a result of the successful delivery, Heathrow invited the project team back to deliver further enhancements to the system, including making the service fully mobile friendly for use on hand held devices around the airport.
