Infantry Platoon Sergeant, Sergeant First Class
CurrentLead a Platoon of 30 plus soldiers as part of an Infantry Company. Responsible for all aspects of Soldiers, including training, evaluations, leadership development, counseling, guidance, and administrative tasks.• Routinely lead in Project Management of multiple training exercises, ranging from large scale combat exercises to Company Weapons Qualifications, with a consistent success rate of 98% to 100%• Responsible for operational development, risk assessment, risk mitigation, employment of planned operation, supervising and refining, and after-action reviews• Act as Company First Sergeant in his absence, assuming complete responsibility for 4 Platoons of 120 plus Soldiers• Develop Soldier leadership skills and capabilities to prepare subordinates for future as Leaders in the Military• Serve as a resource to Company Commander when planning and conducting Mountain Operations and Air Assault Operations• Unit’s Master Resilience Trainer, responsible for teaching all Soldiers within the company on the 14 skills within the U.S. Army’s Resiliency program, as well as certifying Resiliency Trainer Assistants
