•Learn and implement the SBIRT protocol with students identified for support.•Develop expertise over time to become an SBIRT trainer.•Support administrative, counseling staff, and others in learning and applying the SBIRT protocol.•Participate fully in a cross-district SBIRT network improvement team in ongoing collaboration and learning. This may require some flexible hours as collaboration across districts is expected and may occur in late afternoon or early evenings periodically.•Work with district assessment staff to set up the SBIRT screening application. •Ensure parent communication and engagement is effective including revisions of materials as needed and design and implementation of parent engagement activities.•Provide leadership and training for mental health activities with school staff.•Work collaboratively to develop or adapt lessons as needed to support mental health instruction with the K-12 Health and Fitness Coordinator and/or teacher leaders.•Support mental health and SEL curriculum design and development as needed to provide student and teacher support in this area. •Work closely with the Teaching & Learning Department and King County staff as needed to facilitate program and project evaluation activities throughout the grant period including data collection and submitting grant reports. •Attend building MTSS/PBIS and Student Support Team meetings and participate in MTSS framework implementation.•Work closely with building administrators, counselors, teacher leaders, and the Teaching and Learning Department toward program goals. Consult with teachers, staff and parents regarding the developmental needs of adolescents.• Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
