Worked for my current employer for 37 years before being made redundant due to the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic.Being the manager of the Timpson's unit located within a busy shopping centre where the main roles of the job were cutting of a variety of keys, repairing men & womens shoes while also offering a variety of engraving services along with watch repairs which varied strap repairs to battery replacements.My day to day tasks as manager included opening and closing of the unit, cashing up at end of day, stock replenishment and ordering, supplier paperwork, dealing with head office and suppliers regarding any high value customers that needed to be sent off, ensuring machines were in working order and clean. I was also responsible for ensuing that we offered the most up to date products and servicesBeing the manager I was key holder for the unit so was the emergency contact out with shop hours.During my time with the company I was presented with time piece for 25 year loyal service.
