My name is Bryan Lutz, and I am a graduate from IU Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. My areas of interests are in business management and operations, with the types of industries being programming and information systems, science, culinary arts, administrative assistant and facilities management. I prefer striking a balance between working alone and in teams depending on the requirements of my duties. My learning style is a mix of academic and practical applications with regards to learning and applying a particular skill set. I enjoy working with people that share similar values and beliefs, are good to work with, and are willing to aid in comprehending sects of knowledge I am unfamiliar with. When it comes to leadership, I am both comfortable in leading by example, and taking charge when necessary, as well as capable of following orders when such orders are reasonable and clear. My standards on professionalism are high, with preference in competency in executing tasks, comprehending directives, and conservative risk-taking when it comes to showing initiative. The end doesn't necessarily justify the means if the means themselves are unethical and unprofessional in nature. When it comes to logic and reason, if I can ascertain the motivation behind it, I can then apply my own values and beliefs and determine if such reasoning is sound and can be applied appropriately to the given situation. I prefer some flexibility in a structured work environment as long as the objectives are clearly defined, and the organization has a definite focus that I can contribute to. As a manager or assistant manager, I would make for positive contributions to team productivity and satisfaction with an understanding and supportive personality.
