Provide assistance to the Project Manager on our Operations Team. Prepare and submit submittal packages to General Contractors. Review all Addendums, ASI’s, RFI’s, and any other documents that are received; in order to determine cost impacts to our portion of scope. Prepare and submit change orders and RFI’s when necessary. Attend site meetings regularly; whether it is to walk the site, pre-construction or safety meetings, page turn submittals, etc. Take onsite field measurements; prior to releasing subcontractors for scopes of work. Utilize various types of power tools to include table saw, laminate banding machine, router, and power screwdriver to cut and assemble wood cabinets in various stages of assembly. Verify dimensions, and check the quality and fit of pieces in order to ensure adherence to specifications. Attach parts and subassemblies together to form completed units, using glue, dowels, nails, screws, and/or clamps. Assemble doors and hardware, make adjustments or replacement parts prior to delivery to customer. Clean and inspect completed product. Assist in loading, unloading and delivery of product to customer as required. Supervise and provide corrective action of subordinates.
