USS RUSSELL (2018-2023)Galley Watch Captain: whilst leading over 10 sailors on my watch, ran the operation of the main galley above Navy standards while implementing COVID restrictions and social distancing during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I provided training on how to properly prepare, handle and store food items as well as maintaining cleanliness of the work space. Assisted the Galley Captain in planning, preparing and executing three nutritionally balanced meals for over 300 personnel on board the ship daily.Bulkroom Custodian: Maintained properly stored dry, chill and frozen food items in separate rooms in accordance with Navy SOP. Worked closely in hand with the records keeper to keep an accurate count of all food items in storage as well as submitting orders that can feed the crew for weeks at a time. Implemented FIFO (First In First Out), maintained clean storerooms, and executed maintenance to ensure equipment and workspace always are in the best state possible.Damage Control Petty Officer: Executed over 125 hours of maintenance on damage control equipment onboard the ship, assisted in 6 zone inspections (reporting deficiencies and safety concerns in workplaces) and performed over 5 Captains inspections on my execution of maintenance hours (with a 100% pass rate).Mess Decks Master At Arms: In charge of over 12 sailors from different rates sent to help out the Culinary Specialists in cleaning and maintaining all food service spaces, serving food, and helping the Bulkroom Custodian in all aspects of the job.Overall in charge of ensuring the Mess Decks are clean at all times, and that there are snacks or take out fruit at all times. Directed three rotating sailors in charge of housekeeping for officers and chief petty officers, ensuring that uniforms are always cleaned and pressed at the end of every night for the officers and chiefs. Primary duties● Patrolling designated areas keeping alert to any breaches in the Hotels perimeter● Maintain presence in high profile areas as a deterrent● Maintain control of all access points to the hotel, ensuring all people who enter are registered guests or paying customers.Secondary Duties● Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient flow to all Hotel events● Assist with pool area safety● Assist and accompany VIP customers while in Hotel grounds.

● As a Jiu Jitsu instructor I received training not only in martial arts, but in leadership and how to deal with special needs children.● Over the course of 4 years I assisted “Unleash the Power Within” three times, Global Youth Leadership Summit 3 times, and went overseas to London, England to assist and work in their version of Global Youth Leadership.● All this training assisted me in becoming a competent mentor towards my students aged 3-50+ as a young man. My unparalleled patience was key in being able to understand and implement the program made by Jujitsu Family Martial Arts to be able to achieve positive change in children marked as “Hard cases” and diagnosed with Autism, jaspers, Down, and asperger’s syndrome.
