Spent my first 6 months working in the preconstruction division. Helped compile various GMP proposals in the process becoming proficient in comparing subcontractor proposals to contract drawings, creating/analyzing bid tabs, and doing take-offs of contract drawings.The remainder of my time was spent working at the UC Hastings 198 McAllister project, a 14 story residential building for graduate students. My main task was assuring all 656 units were ready to be turned over to the owner on schedule. During my time in this role I was able to further my experience in: managing workflow in the field, creating/managing a punch list, providing schedule updates, doing inspections with IOR, and creating RFI's/submittals.
