Oversee five departments. Functional areas include investigations, compliance, state government relations, sports betting, international litigation and affairs, real estate, office operations, security, and stadium operations. Provide counsel on laws and regulations to central baseball entities and to the general counsel of MLB’s 30 teams.

Prosecuted federal white-collar cases in the Fraud and Public Corruption Section from 2010 to 2014, and violent crime and property-related cases in D.C. Superior Court from 2006 to 2010.Received the 2012 Team Award from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and a commendation from the FBI for prosecuting one of the largest domestic bribery schemes in federal contracting history. Directed scores of grand jury investigations, questioning hundreds of witnesses.Tried 31 cases (16 jury, 15 bench), serving as lead counsel on 30 of them.Authored 15 appellate briefs and argued seven criminal appeals before the D.C. Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Served one-year temporary detail as counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
