I supported a student taking the course NEUR3302. Although I did not have prior experience in this course, the course coordinator Associate Professor Ada Kritikos, who I have previously worked with, was confident in my ability and recommended me for this role. After accepting this role, I had the pleasure of working one-to-one with a student to help clarify any queries or confusion they had with course material, as well as assignment preparation and time management skills. I gained useful experience in teaching university-level material to others and communicating effectively scientific concepts and simplifying it so that others can understand and gain clarity of what was taught.
