Though I am in my third year of teaching in the great town of Perth Amboy, I have been in the education field for eight years. I started my field experience in Middletown Township and began coaching middle school baseball at Winfield Park. After graduation from Kean University, I was hired for three leave positions at Bayshore Middle School in Middletown Township. From 2013 to 2016, I worked with students with disabilities which provided a wonderful experience that I will never forget. In 2016, after six, long years of looking for a full- time teaching job, I landed in Perth Amboy. The students, staff members, and community are great to work with and to be around. The students appreciate so much and rely on teachers for support, which I am more than happy to provide. The passion that I have for education and for my students is what gets me up every day. My students and their education means the world to me and it shows through my lesson planning. My students know exactly what to expect from me when they see me, a jubilant, energetic teacher that is set on educating them and having a blast while doing so. The love of sports is the reason I chose Physical Education and Health as my specialty. Growing up, I enjoyed playing baseball year round, playing football with my friends after school, and learning to play volleyball shortly after high school. To this day, I am learning to play new sports and activities such as lacrosse, spikeball, and Tchoukball. My goal is to combine the love that I have for education and sports and pass it onto my students, so that they be lifelong participants of physical activity and fitness and achieve excellence in a safe and health learning environment regardless of diversities.
