Bryan Smith is a West Australian creative andfashion designer. He completed a fashionmajor at Curtin University in 2020, beforefounding BLANK SPACE in 2021 and becomingManaging and Creative Director.In the final year of his fashion major atCurtin, Bryan won the WA Designer to WatchAward and was a recipient of the AustralianWool Education Trust scholarship. He wassubsequently selected by the Department ofForeign Affairs and Trade to showcase his finalyear collection Masculum Hysteria at the 2021China Graduate Fashion Week.Bryan is of South African Afrikaans heritage,having emigrated to Australia in 2008 beforebecoming a citizen in 2012. He is married andthe parent of two young daughters.
