- Validate asset information via both desktop exercises and field visits of the infrastructurethroughout the MBTA.- Coordinate and maintain relationships with Engineering & Maintenance Department in orderto effectively schedule proper staff support for field visits- Oversee, manage and provide basic training for personnel to collect, verify, and documentasset data as part of the Asset Management Program.- Review and update engineering documents in line with asset management methodologies.- Document inspection criteria for verifying condition of assets, monitor maintenance practicesand procedures, and assist in establishing criteria for preventive maintenance cycles basedupon data driven metrics.- Review and validate new asset data from major Capital Programs and act as handover liaisonbetween Asset Management, Operations, and Engineering & Maintenance.- Assist the continuous improvement of both the Asset Management Program and assetdocumentation.- Enforce the Department of Asset Management policies and procedures by monitoringcompliance as it relates to assets, audit requirements and other MBTA manuals and directives.
