With broad leadership experience across the healthcare ecosystem, I am motivated to guide high growth businesses and executive teams on market strategy and disruption, PE partnerships, M&A, and leadership development. I joined the healthcare industry right out of college, working my way up throughs sales roles and into a regional Vice President role at UnitedHealthcare focused on serving the public sector. In these early years, I was exposed to all aspects of the healthcare puzzle and found pharmacy benefits to be a major gap for employers. There was an opportunity to help smaller, self-insured companies level the playing field with large competitors to more effectively manage their pharmacy benefits and improve patient lives. This led me to join RxBenefits as co-founder and its 3rd employee—and begin turning my vision for these companies into reality. On my rise to become CEO of RxBenefits, I developed and scaled a first-of-its-kind platform that provided mid-market employers with Fortune 10 purchasing power, which led to record growth, nearly 30% savings for businesses, and widespread distribution of services to over 3 million members. I was fortunate to lead the company over multiple phases of growth—from creating the building blocks for a successful startup to navigating private equity ownership groups and the company’s recapitalization. At the foundation of this growth and market dominance, I built a motivated team and unique culture based on putting people first. These efforts led to extraordinary client retention rates and multiple consecutive “Best Place to Work” awards. In 2022, I made the decision to move from CEO to Vice Chair of the board where I continue to guide long-term strategic growth and mentor the company’s leadership. A life-long resident of Alabama I’m an active volunteer in my community and love spending summers on the lake with friends and family.
