Assistant Branch Manager
CurrentAs an Assistant Branch Manager, I play a critical role in ensuring the success of the bank branch by providing leadership, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. I manage, mentor, and coach the branch staff, participate in hiring, training, and evaluating employees by ensuring high employee engagement through talent management, career development and workforce planning. I ensure that the branch meets its sales and customer service goals through coaching and mentoring advisors to increase skills and capabilities to maximize sales and referral opportunities, enable digital education, and promote problem resolution at the first point of contact. I continuously coach, inspire, orchestrate and pioneer superior retailing excellence to advisors in providing excellent customer service, resolving complex customer issues or complaints, and deliver a memorable client experience at first point of contact. I oversee the branch's cash management and ensure compliance with all banking regulations and policies while I develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. I monitor and deliver on the branch's financial performance results through strong management routines and coaching ability while partnering with the Community Manager to ensure operational effectiveness as well as collaborate along with other leaders and partners to share and achieve RBC values, goals, vision, and purpose through coordinating as well as participating in community events to help our clients thrive and our communities prosper.
