I am the President of St. Monica’s Montessori in Fargo, ND.When I’m not leading a Montessori start-up school committed to Catholic values and a generosity funding model, I enjoy assisting other nonprofits as a consultant with Petrus Development.Background:After college, I spent four years working as a Catholic missionary with FOCUS. To say that fundraising my entire salary was not how I envisioned starting my career, would be accurate. However, I came to realize the passion I had for involving others in a mission. This passion brought me back to St. Paul’s Newman Center at NDSU in 2015.I took over as the leader of our fundraising team in 2018. At that time, we were seeking to finish a $21.5 million campaign we started back in 2015. As anyone who is familiar with capital campaigns can attest, things do not always go as you planned.By the grace of God, amazing benefactors, and a strong development team, we were able to push through the changes and keep the vision going.We raised over $40 million for a new church, Newman Center, and 82 bed faith-based apartments. The new church was dedicated on October 23, 2023.I took on the role of President of St. Monica’s in May of 2024.
