• Conducted research studing the effects of anesthetics on children with and without sleep-disordered breathing in hopes of predicting adverse effects, congentital heart lesions on premature babies, and bioethics studying health care professionals abilities to predict adverse effects for mechanically ventilated babies• Surveyed and interacted with patients and their families in order to inquire about personal health habits to understand the effects of living conditions on health• Utilized the University of Michigan's MiChart online health care system to track surgical procedures obtain information about patients' medications and health history • Collaborated with various health professionals to fully understand the significance of health issues in children • Combined information from the research and my experience to complete a Spring 2015 Symposium documenting the findings of my research for the University of Michigan community and undergraduate research alumnus

• Leads biweekly seminars, instructing thirty-three kids from various backgrounds on how to be a leading research professionals on the University of Michigan Campus• Attends biweekly staff meetings with university administration to address student concerns and develop teaching techniques that effectively help our students• Holds office hours and runs a fully-functional campus site to be able to constantly inform students of upcoming assignments, reminders, and remain as communicative as possible• Builds relationships with students, serving as a resource for any academic or personal questions that students may have throughout the year• Mediates professional relationships between students and their research sponsors, ensuring the learning curve students may experience proceeds as smoothly as possible

• Interns report to senior staff to assist and partner in donor research, call-time management, event planning, capacity building, and voter contact• Collaborate with county and field directors on a daily basis to strategize best practices for the campaign, supporting field operations and voter activation• Involved with recruiting efforts for local and student volunteers/interns and assisted in the preparation and opening of the new Washtenaw County Field Office

• Fund-raised money to sponsor trip to Neil Elementary, a school located on the South side of Chicago that serves diverse learners during our 2015 Spring Break from classes at the University of Michigan• Participated in group dialogues that question our identities and challenge members of Alternative Spring Break to consider their privilege and current social issues• Asked members and partners of the Alternative Spring Break community to share their alternative stories, a series of narratives inspired by the experiences of the program to increase the participation of alternative spring breaks • Spent numerous weekday and weekend nights located near popular campus locations to ask students to donate to the Alternative Spring Break cause

• Participated in weekly dialogues and listened to various speakers that work in community-organization based careers • Volunteered regularly at various sites in the Metro-Detroit area to become more aware of societal issues• Studied Intergroup-Dialogue to become a more effector communicator in any future career• Assessed a conductive study through an affiliated course that displayed how students feel about campus climate

• Worked with severely disabled campers at Camp Tamarack, a Jewish summer camp in Michigan• Integrated specific campers into the main, general camp population, helping facilitate relationships between campers with disabilities and those without• Helped with daily hygienic and lifestyle tasks, serving as the primary caretaker in campers' lives• Collaborated with external professionals and organizations, serving as an advisor for Tamarack's Horizon Program and discussing my experience, what I found effective and what I did not• Collaborated with the medical staff and supervisors to ensure the proper care was provided• Maintained relationships with my campers' families to create long-lasting relationships and to make sure my campers' families felt comfortable with my care and the summer camp

• Allocated over $75,000 to local non-profit organizations in Washtenaw County that align with the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation's guidelines for allocation• Led and managed a group of twenty high-school students from the greater Ann Arbor with diverse backgrounds to have many perspectives when reviewing organizations' grant proposals• Interviewed various organizations' Board of Directors to test the credibility of their organizations and understand how a potential grant would be allocated• Organized monthly meetings at various office buildings and off-campus programs to allow for greater cohesiveness and stronger relationships• Collaborated with food banks to help organize, sort and serve food on a biweekly basis
