Our daily lives are often too busy to waste in a doctor's office waiting for someone who could be an hour behind -- and when we're sick, we don't want to wait for care. I developed a prototype queuing system (hardware and software) for use in clinics, allowing patients to roam outside the office and reducing opportunity for germs to spread between patients. I used embedded platforms to create a lightweight all-in-one unit with a lightweight bill-of-materials.

Faced with the problem of a group on the chopping block, I spearheaded initiatives to revitalize group space and improve brand awareness. I reorganized the office to make it more comfortable for many students to be in simultaneously and created a database of course resources for students to take copies of. I also used my contacts to secure development tools at no cost to the organization and hosted curriculum and industry seminars.
