Special Education Teacher- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district’s curriculum.- Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.- Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency board policies, and administrative regulations. - Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect differentiated learning. Behavior Specialist- Modified the general education curriculum for special-needs students based upon a variety of instructional techniques and technology. - Taught students with varying abilities math and reading according to their IEPS.- Planned, implemented, monitored, and assessed lessons through guidance of the TEKS. Differentiated lessons and instruction to reach students of varied academic levels.- Provide Inclusion Support & Services to classroom teachers - Develop modified lesson plans for resource math & reading- ARD preparation & scheduling- Ensure classroom teachers have supplemental aids, accommodations, and IEPs- Manage caseloads of SPED students- Monitor grades, behavior support, social & emotional support- Documentation and data entry into ESPED system
