Responsible for the drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution of contracts between Virgin Australia and it's vendors including approved maintenance organisations. Establish and maintain long-term working relationships or partnerships between Virgin Australia and selected preferred maintenance providers by carrying out the following;◦Researching providers capabilities and identifying a pool of providers for project consideration◦Assist in the negotiation of contracts with an optimum mix of price and quality◦Assess the quotations and proposals submitted and down selecting the candidates with which the commercial/financial negotiations may be conducted◦Conduct the commercial and contract negotiations at the appropriate management level◦Identify and analyse economic developments in the market◦Manage the competitive bidding and selection process◦Negotiate contract terms, pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreements with the vendors are commercially advantageous◦Intervenes, analyses, manages and resolves business conflicts between Virgin Australia and the maintenance providers

Support the approved Virgin Australia maintenance providers with Aircraft redelivery from heavy maintenance checks.Timely communication of delays and items effecting Redelivery to relevant stakeholders.Continuous monitoring, review and reporting of the maintenance carried out on the aircraft during a heavy maintenance event. The major drivers for this are safety and quality.Ensure checks are planned well and have deliverables that match industry acceptable standards and the maintenance facilities capability and capacity.
