Initially support in-house developed distributed VB6 application and vendor application used for tracking contractor costs (labor, materials, equipment, per diems) for 7 refineries. Lead team in developing and implementing a rewrite of the cost reporting functionality of these applications into a single instance used by all 7 refineries using C# .NET, Kendo UI, and Entity Framework. Mentor interns assigned to the group through code reviews, pair programming, and development plans.

Complete tickets, develop stored procedures and SSRS reports, and enhance SSIS packages. Enhance windows form application for verifying SQL deployment scripts.

Extract data from a Excel Spreadsheet using C#, and output multiple .csv files that would be forwarded on to an Accounting application to make charges and credits to customer accounts.This required understanding many business requirements, and ensuring all were met when writing the application.Support the installing/uninstalling of a software package for approx. 125 Marketing employees. This required contacting the user, scheduling a convenient time to install/uninstall, and verifying the software was installed/uninstalled properly. Many issues with the package slowed the progress, but working I and a service desk employee were able to find solutions.Working with 4 other interns to research any issues with the current On-Boarding/Off-Boarding process.

This also involved improving the readability of the application by modifying HTML.Create a web application with VB.NET in Visual Studio that would allow employees in the field (refinery) to easily request vacation, shift swap, etc. This information would then be passed on to HR for approval. This required creating SQL tables in SQL Management Studio 2008, and designing the web application with HTML and JavaScript.Migrate an old SharePoint site to a new Company designed SharePoint 2010 site. This required contacting users to determine what information should transfer, and maintaining the same security available on the old site.
