Work on the Android SDK

Logan Apps is a side-business where I create mobile apps. By removing the complexities that are present in a large business, I am able to use this venture to enhance my skill set and provide an outlet for my innovation.I currently have apps available in Apple's App Store, Google Play, and Amazon. I also have published a custom Alexa skills and a flash briefing Alexa skill.In addition to publicly available apps, I have also created apps for private use by organizations to help run their systems more efficiently. In addition to the app, a new PHP-based web solution was developed to replace the old command-line based system.

I am part of the team that works on the IT component of Medication Management. This involves working with internal groups and the external vendor to ensure that new workflows are implemented in a manner that both provides value and minimizes risk.I also assisted the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation on some brainstorming ideas and helped create proof of concepts for them.On any given day, I may be doing data analysis to determine what impact a change may have, investigating how to implement a change, negotiating with the vendor to ensure that the change is beneficial to both parties, or providing level 3 support for users.

I worked on the Power Firmware team. I was the lead of the Configuration team. I was responsible for designing the protocol used to perform various configuration aspects of the system. Under my control, the protocol became more robust allowing for us to quickly adjust to new requirements and handling scaling requirements.In addition to design, I also performed the implementation of the protocol on the firmware side along with my team.I was the technical mentor for two team of co-ops. I trained them on our development process, design philosophies, code architecture, and toolset.
