In this role, I nurtured relationships with our industry partners in the pharma and biotech spaces, communicating research studies, project proposals, and findings across the toxicology, immunology, DMPK, and pharmacology therapeutic areas. Highlights:-Identified and implemented process improvements and templates that improved project times by 50%.-Enhanced our pricing accuracy and improved the consistency of quotes through the development and rollout of a modular pricing matrix and custom pricing calculators. -Coached and mentored junior staff and fostered a culture of knowledge-sharing, resulting in a retention rate of more than 80%.-Led efforts to secure state-of-the-art tools and technologies for our research teams and trained staff in their utilization.

Highlights:-Spearheaded an initiative to secure a T32 training grant from NIH for STI/HIV research. -Utilized biomedical engineering techniques to study and characterize STI pathogenesis, resulting in the development and characterization of a primary human Fallopian tube epithelial organ-on-a-chip model.-Partnered with the laboratory at North Carolina State University of the adaptation of a human Fallopian tube model MPS for primary porcine oviduct epithelial cells. -Spearheaded two thesis projects, both resulting in first author publications.
