I was the lead coach for the R&D team supporting podcast publishers. I helped grow an incubating squad into a healthy, collaborative, highly functional, continuously improving group of squads.What I did:* I coached team members at all levels - from individual contributors to senior leaders - influencing mindset and behavior shifts in order to build a more effective organization.* I partnered with and served as a trusted strategic advisor to leaders at all levels.* I designed and delivered customized training, including bespoke workshops, 1-pagers, and book summaries, to address organizational issues, create a deepened understanding of agility, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.* I served as expert facilitator; designing and facilitating sessions of all kinds, from squad health checks to large, cross-company retrospectives, and taught facilitation skills to leaders across the organization.* I advocated for and taught agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and effective delivery practices.* I amplified voices; leveraging squad and leadership health checks, surveys, and 1:1s to help identify, surface, and address system-wide issues.* I was an advocate for and helped build a world-class company-wide community of practice; leading book clubs, Lean Coffees, coach meetups, and more.

I was the first coach for Business Insider. I coached teams and senior leaders and built their first community of practice.What I did:* I nurtured teams; championing a safe, supportive environment where teams felt empowered to solve problems creatively.* I coached Product Owners on developing best practices around product vision, conducting User Story Mapping sessions, and developing and maintaining product backlogs.* I coached team members on how to communicate as effectively as possible, learn from their mistakes, and find ways to reduce waste.* I facilitated and coached others to facilitate Overall and Team Retrospectives, Overall and Team Backlog Refinements, Sprint Planning, and Team Standups.* I worked with leadership to improve systems and reduce waste and complexity on an organizational level.

I led the Project Management team for Pratt’s in-house creative services department. While there I started and completed a Certificate in UX Design.

I was the first Project Manager and Scrum Master for WNYC, where I helped a small R&D team build a world-class public radio content management system.
