I earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision from the College of Technology (now the Purdue Polytechnic Institute), Purdue University, and a master of science in management degree with a strategic management focus from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have been employed since 1997 by the Purdue University Press in various positions in the areas of production, sales, marketing, and strategic management. I am continually inspired by and attempt to be inspiring through servant leadership and have volunteered as a member of various committees, a regional director, and a member of the board of directors for the Purdue Alumni Association, founder and past president of the Purdue Club of Tippecanoe County, and volunteered for my alma mater, Purdue University, as an adviser to the student organization Purdue Reamer Club. Another organization I happily provide many hours of volunteer time is the Boy Scouts of America and its national honored camping society, the Order of the Arrow.In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing about leadership practices, project management, and related competencies; reading biographies; and enjoying the great outdoors.Specialties: project management, marketing, social media, book & journal publishing, e-publishing, book cover and jacket design, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.
