The nature of this development and due to its unique design had required detailing to a high end commercial level. Due to the complexity of this project, Phillip Roy Cohen, the supervising architect (also an examiner on the ARBV), and I had working at the site office for 11 months to documenting, working through problems and problems solving. This had enabled us dealing and work directly with the builder, manufacturers and tradesmen to solve ongoing building issues.My major role and responsibility had been to provide documentation for the design and detailing of this complicated building to facilitate ease of construction for the builder. Specifically one of my major tasks had been to review shop drawings for the imported half a million dollar Vitrocsa window, extremely complicated steelwork design, extensive Hollowcore precast concrete slabs to ground and first floor, and precast concrete wall panels for lift shaft and stairwell. I had to fully understand the structure and construction as I had almost comment on every single steel component to the steel draftsman.• Construction documentation, architectural specification, reviewing shop drawing.• Design & detailing: • Imported Vitrocsa window from Switzerland over half a million dollar.• Structural steel works for fin, truss, CHS trellis, canopy roof, serpentine stair• Canopy roof downpipe integrated into existing column details• Meetings with client, builder, consultants, tradesmen and supplier.
