Bryan A. Wolf, M.D., Ph.D. is the former Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Executive Vice-President at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) [2015-2021]. In July 2014, he became Chair of the newly created academic Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics. Between 2008 and 2015, Dr. Wolf was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Senior Vice-President at CHOP. Prior to becoming CIO in 2008, Dr. Wolf was Pathologist-in-Chief and Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at CHOP from 2001 to 2008, where he was responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the department as well as for laboratory systems implementations. Dr. Wolf was also a leader in diabetes research with an emphasis on islet biology. Dr. Wolf received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Paris, France, and completed post-doctoral training, residency and a fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Hospital in Saint Louis.
