- Designed and implemented PoCs to enhance various data science and engineering workflows (ML models, data migrations, test data generation, docs generation). - Helped to productionalize 4 data science solutions.

- Built custom ETL applications and services using Java.- Led the architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring of the team’s big data ETL pipelines and the REST services connecting them to our Oracle database. - Designed, installed, configured, and maintained a Postgres database containing the company's quote, order, and trade server event data. This database approached 1 TB in size, so it relied on partitioning, replication, window functions, query tuning, and overnight maintenance of summary tables in order to permit complex queries which tied together disparate data elements. - Implemented C++ code to pre-process the quote data.- Implemented python ETL scripts to manage the nightly processes and load data from various sources.- Performed analysis of the quote and trade data (using R). This included simulations on historical quote data, optimization of trading parameters, and techniques to identify metrics which separated the company's profitable and unprofitable trades.- Delivered a wide variety of Excel reports and some automated processes to update them.
