Space Branch Chief for the U.S. Army Pacific Command the Army Service Component Command to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. Served as the senior Space and Special Technical Operations advisor to the Director of Operations (G3) and Director of Special Activities (G3X). Responsible for planning, coordination, and synchronizing of Space, STO, and Special Access Programs across the Pacific Theater in support of Army operations. Coordinated with multiple Joint and Interagency partners to ensure Army Pacific equites and capabilities were represented and accounted for during strategic planning.

Team lead for 6 member element that deploys and imbeds with Army and Marine units to assist in the planning and integration of space systems and services into military plans. Extensive experience in integrating space control into plans and operations.

In this role I was given a detachment of Soldiers and sent to a seperate installation from my parent unit to help facilitate the retrograde of US military equipment and property from FOB Gary Owen to Kuwait. I was responsible for the coordination and accountability for over 150 million dollars worth of US Government property moving from FOB Gary Owen to Talill Iraq, and then to equipment depots at Camp Virginia, Kuwait. This was especially challenging working with shared resources through out the theater of operations and the strict time line that had been given for all retrograde operations to be completed. Upon completion I had over seen the movement of over 200 vehicles, 700 containers of equipment, and thousands of individual pieces of property that had to be accounted for and shipped to seperate destinations.

I was selected above my peers to hold the postion as the Battalion Scout Platoon leader, only one such platoon in my Battalion. As the Scout Platoon Leader I was responsible for the training, readiness, and well being of 40 Scouts and 8 Snipers. While serving in that position my unit prepared for another deployment and I was given the addtional duty of Unit Movement Officer where I was responsible for ensuring the movement of my Platoon, the remainder of my Company and Battalion HQ's equipment, totalling over 200 individual pieces of equipment and containers, to training in California and to our duty assignment in Iraq. I competed such task with zero loss of equipment or frustrated cargo. While deployed my Platoon and Company was responsible for security of over 100 miles of border between Iraq and Iran and to train Iraqi border guards to enable continued security upon our withdrawl. During this time I lead over 100 anti-smuggling and weapons intridiction patrols along with providing security for over 50 key leader engagment meetings between Provincial Reconstruction teams and personnel at key border crossings.

As a Tank platoon leader I was responsible for the safety and daily operations of a platoon of 18 Soldiers and NCOs. While deployed I lead over 150 combat patrols and was responsible for 4 Abrams tanks, 5 MRAP armored vehicles, 4 up armored HMWWVs, with full compliment of weapons and associated equipment in excess of 30 million dollars. I successfully redeployed my platoon with zero loss of equipment and zero casualties taken. Upon return to Texas, I ensured my platoon maintained a high level of combat rediness and were able to have enough down time to reintegrate with their families.
