Received letter of appreciation from Air Combat Command’s Director of Safety due to high quality of writing and observations. ● Led 14-member inspection preparation team, managed 39 checklists, and verified 1,600 items resulting in a passed inspection. ● As an instructor pilot completed dynamic training events with newly qualified MQ-1 pilots. Led 43 officers and enlisted members as a Flight Director. Coordinated training, scheduling, and administration to meet operational requirements to fly combat missions in Operation Enduring Freedom. Deployed to Afghanistan to take part in MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations. While an Operational Supervisor, managed 226 flights and 4,124 operational flight hours over the course of four months. Managed daily weather and maintenance issues resulting in completion of 95% of mission objectives.● Coordinated an operations surge over a 16-hour period in which the Air Force Base was isolated due to a flash flood, leading to a lack of personnel. Balanced crew rest, operational requirements and other demands to successfully keep the squadron flying the mission until the flooding subsided. ● Hand selected to give briefing to 60+ family members about the squadron mission set.● Authored a change to an Air Force instruction to match two sets of Remotely Piloted Aircraft weather instructions.

Deployed to Iraq to take part in MQ-1 Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations. During the deployment acted as the Vehicle Operations Officer. Also responsible for a $100,000 squadron budget as a Resource Advisor. Required to make sure every purchase fit within Federal and Air Force guidelines. Oversaw three government purchase card holders who made squadron purchases. ● Directed and executed a no-notice weather recall of every MQ-1 Remotely Piloted Aircraft flying in country. Result- $28 million dollars in Air Force aircraft saved.
