Working for Carl ZEISS in Germany enabled me to continue growing my experience in online content management and marketing while simultaneously completing a Master's course in communications. In this role, I was able to apply my ongoing education in global business communication to my content management and e-learning design responsibilites. It has been an extraordinarly challenging and rewarding experience. The team that I worked with were all extremely welcoming, helpful, and encouraging and I hope to maintain a working relationship with all of them.

It was my privilege to be a part of the Children’s Programming team assisting with the roll out of Children's content across all ABC platforms. This was an extraordinarily dynamic role that allowed me to work in a wide range of fields. I worked on everything including content management, marketing, communications, social media, and policy making. I reported directly to the Channel Manager for ABC KIDS and ABC ME and it provided me with meaningful interactions with business and executive level teams. The team I worked with were all extremely knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to work and learn from them.

In this role I was responsible for writing, editing, publishing, and curating content for ABC iview, as well as engaging audiences through ABC social media accounts. This involved a wide variety of tasks that were audience facing on the national level. It was an exciting role that included the coordination of social media posts, the analysis of content, administrative duties, and customer service in the form of social media moderation and communication. In this role I was also able to develop my business acumen and communication skills by collaborating with a wide range of adjacent departments to achieve the strategic goals of the ABC. The team I worked with were passionate and engaged.

I remember how excited I was to be offered a role at Australia's national broadcaster. I had always loved and respected the ABC since childhood, and it was a privilege to gain my first role there. As Media Coordinator I was responsible for the timely, accurate and technical publication of media to the ABC's video on demand platform iview. The role introduced me to the structured environment of large corporations, and allowed me to meet and learn from a variety of well trained and knowledgeable mentors. I will always value the lessons and connections I made in my first role.

The Visual Domain team produces video packages for clients from an extraordinarily wide range of backgrounds and professions. The objectives and aims of our clients were similarly diverse. Here I interacted with customers from many fields including real estate, finance, recruitment, education, health and even government. For each of these clients we had to understand their field of expertise and create a video solution that worked to achieve a desired objective. It was an exciting and challenging role that required equal parts customer service, content strategy, and digital video production.

They involved the coordination and management of the production office's media inventory and computer systems. I also worked to advance my knowledge of digital media and customer relations so that I could move into a senior role.
