As the chief Artistic Officer of the organization, the Artistic Director now oversees all aspects of the theatre’s productions, identity, messaging, quality, and programs; including, but not limited to, actor development, education, main-season productions, season materials, messaging, season selection, staff selection and management, strategic goals and initiatives, all programming, community and audience development, and more.• Created first international touring series to Osaka, Japan to develop international partnerships, grow our national reputation, and to gain multi-cultural understanding of disabilities around the world. Project nominated for 2015 Denver Mayor’s Award for Arts & Culture Excellence, Global arts and Culture.• Launched a regional collaboration to help Arts and Culture institutions across the region host sensory friendly programs and events; and to connect the disability community to these organizations. Project received two Denver Mayor’s Award for Arts & Culture Excellence in Innovation, and as the People’s Choice.• Implemented new Artistic Standards and guidelines to improve community understanding and respect; including new seasonal artwork, brochures, and information.• Expanded performer opportunities by creating new development and training programs, restructuring the season.• Oversaw the successful implementation of production and rehearsal transitions into Phamaly’s New Offices.
