As an Information Assistant at Florida State University, I serve as a dynamic front-desk ambassador across various high-traffic buildings on campus. In this role, I am the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, embodying the welcoming spirit of FSU. My responsibilities include:1) Multifaceted Information Resource: Expertly handling a wide range of inquiries, I offer detailed directions to campus buildings and provide insightful advice to students, leveraging my extensive knowledge of campus facilities and services.2) Campus Navigation Expert: Skillfully guiding individuals through the FSU campus, I ensure that each person reaches their destination efficiently and with a deeper appreciation of our campus community.3) Student Engagement: Engaging with a diverse array of individuals each shift, I foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, promoting a sense of belonging and community within FSU.4) Video-Game Rentals Management: At one of the desks, I oversee the video-game rental service, providing entertainment options to students and ensuring a seamless rental experience.5) Lost and Found Administration: I manage the campus-wide lost and found system, meticulously tracking and safeguarding lost items, thereby reuniting possessions with their rightful owners and enhancing campus security and trust.Through these roles, I not only enhance the campus experience for those I interact with but also continuously develop my skills in customer service, communication, and campus resource management.
