My role in this position is to design, layout, and document purpose built technology systems, inclusive of voice, data, Wi-Fi systems, audio visual, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and structured cabling infrastructure (including inside and outside plant, and other low-voltage systems. Develop and prepare drawings and low voltage specifications, project narratives, systems design layouts and drawings directly with the client and other disciplines. Develop and prepare design analysis, engineering reports and technical specifications. Document construction drawings with design concept suitable for plan check, bidding and construction. Prepare bid documents, request for proposals and subcontractor contract negotiations. Oversee and manage the technology bidding process including RFIs. Review and evaluate shop drawings and product submittals. Oversee projects from inception through final transition working with owners, clients and subcontractors ensuring the schedules, and resources remain in check and on time. Conduct client project meetings; prepare meeting minutes, as needed. Conduct field inspections to monitor work in progress and prepare punch list/reports
