Brynley trained at Bretton Hall under the late John Hodgson, and after obtaining a 2:1 degree in Theatre Arts worked as ASM at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Whilst working there he played guitar in local venues , theatres in the pit for musicals to subsidise his wage and eventually the love of playing live music led him to Spain, Oman and Dubai where he worked under the CROWN PLAZA and INTERCONTINENTAL 5 star hotel umberella as a professional guitarist , playing as many genres as the different venues required, ( , SENOR PICO, OK CORRAL, CROWN PLAZA , ROADHOUSE etc). Returning to the UK Bryn worked the holiday camp scene in Devon with A resident musician act at Lyme bay holiday village, a Haven holiday camp but then Bryn and his wife ( ex ) decided to start a family so he trained as a PERFORMING ARTS teacher at the DEVON SCITT , and moved on to be Drama teacher at the esteemed CHELTENHAM LADIES COLLEGE. From here he moved to CLEEVE SCHOOL where he was Head of Drama, where he created a new drama department from scratch, including over seeing the build of a drama studio, syllabus and course creation and department management , whilst also teaching Music , Life skills and Creative Arts. Brynley gigged simultaneously with local Cheltenham , Gloucester and Worcester rock/Blues outfits and live bands such as The Hush, jk chameleons and the free miners blues band as well as regular gigs with The Album Project, where he performed classic albums live. Albums have included The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Rumours, Hotel California, Abbey Road, and Led Zeppelin IV. He played in theatre shows with Jerry Lee Lewis tribute, Ricky Nelson tribute, Dire straits tribute show with j.k. chameleon and a Floyd show as well as recital and jazz work with Robin A. Smith on the piano ( find him on Facebook) . He writes music from home as a hobby and as another extension of his creative and busy life. Currently Performing Arts teacher at the prestigious Sultans School in Oman., creating a global CIS curriculum with a link to Cambridge for bilingual Omani students. at weekends gigs at the best hotels in Muscat, namely Intercontinental Muscat IHG, All Bustan palace and Muscat bay Jumeirah.Specialties: music, drama (Beckett, Pinter, Ayckbourn, Godber) AQA spec, IB trained, Btec, arts award ,ladder and technician trained.Professional guitarist adept in all genres and recording techniques.
