Showing up in sometimes hostile spaces to connect and open minds.• Creation of a training resource group to address siloed processes and competing messages. I had the idea, created the group, sunsetted training programs, gained buy-in from protective and recalcitrant executives, and built a streamlined and cohesive training catalog with upskilled trainers.• Created and delivered an original customer service empowerment program that incorporated peer-led training, personal mentoring, and success analytics. My greatest success was when a serial doubter gave me a kudo in a staff meeting for opening her eyes to the power of empathy.• As a founding member and Program Manager of Leaders for Equity, Allyship, & Diversity (L.E.A.D.), I built relationships, created stimulating content, strategized program planning, presented at, or hosted, weekly meetings, and sought out and secured relevant and exciting guests.I am an individualist and humanist. I see connection and possibility everywhere and I am not afraid to be vulnerable when I need to learn or teach something. I genuinely like people and work every day to be better in my comprehension and expression of DEIB principles.
