Continuing to work on the same project, I have brought value to the team by introducing new practices in microservice development and management. Considering the complexity of the project, it usually takes a good number of days to get setup, so I worked on setting up scaffolds that helped any new developer to get started working on the project in a very short period of time. One of the tools that helped us achieve this was Microsoft's Tye project.In addition I refactored a key module of the application to a separate microservice following DDD patterns while leveraging test-driven development. Part of the refactor was to implement a bulk data import mechanism that worked with Entity Framework and SQL Server

During this period, I started working on a new project which was using new technologies such as .NET Core (now .NET), and Angular 2+. My main tasks were developing new features based on both well-defined and loosely defined requirements. The project was a distributed application leveraging the micro-services pattern and domain driven design. This period helped me to hone my skills in Typescript, reactive programming, domain driven design, microservices and the ASP.NET Core ecosystem.

I worked on legacy ASP.NET Webforms applications, where most of my effort was spent on maintaining existing code bases, and also refactoring the client-side code to catch-up with new javascript trends. The project I worked on had an AngularJS based front-end, I implemented a bundling and minification mechanism to improve page load times by 50%.

Transitioned from Motion Graphics (artistry) to technical projects using my skills in Python, MEL and Javascript. I was involved in creating tools/scripts for 3D content creation applications (Maya) for my clientele. I was also involved in creating Adobe After Effects templates and tools using ExtendScript and doing technical animations using AE expressions.

Worked as a freelance specialist in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. Worked extensively on local and international projects with multiple clients. During this period, I gathered extensive experience in the following pipelines:1. 3D Content Creation (Modeling, UV Mapping, Texturing)2. Digital special effects (Particle dynamics, fluid systems)3. Motion Graphics (Animation principles, design principles, typography)4. Compositing (Rotoscoping, set extensions, object removals, matte-paintings)
