I'm a father, a husband, and a sales professional, but equally important, a connector.I assist education, economic development, and workforce development professionals in introducing students and job seekers in their communities to well-paying, in-demand career paths and opportunities for upward mobility by leveraging virtual reality technology.With workforce shortages in many skills-based careers, there are accessibility challenges in exploring and growing within these fields. Traditional methods of attracting, training, and retaining a qualified workforce are struggling to resonate with students and job seekers of today.When I excel in my role, students as early as middle school begin their journey from the classroom to a career, individuals impacted by the criminal justice system acquire the skills necessary to reduce the likelihood of recidivism, and barriers are broken in traditionally gender-dominated career paths.On the contrary, if I fall short in my responsibilities, the status quo persists. Students fail to recognize the myriad of possibilities awaiting them, community members returning home lack the skills for gainful employment, and stigmas surrounding the skilled trades endure.Using a combination of professional expertise suited to my present position, careful attention to detail, and a deep commitment to aiding those in need, I foster connections among professionals and form partnerships that make a positive impact in local communities.I'm also a guest speaker, copywriter, lover of professional wrestling, and a proud father of daughters. You might find me deeply engaged with the latest technology or surrounded by shades of pink and purple, both of which I wouldn't change for anything.
