As a DaaS (Desktop as a Service) Systems Engineer I'm responsible for the day-to-day support of multiple large Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. I diagnose, communicate, and resolve problems quickly on a daily basis, but also drive long-term strategy that maximizes performance and reliability. This requires me to work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure the continuous deployment of new features and upgrades for our customers.

Serve as Systems Administrator for the wide and local area networks (WAN, LAN), Storage Area Network (SAN) Administrator, Active Directory administrator, VMWare Virtualization to include Zero Client, and Application Server administration.

Responsible for providing expert automation solutions either individually or collaboratively as part of a Help Desk Team, in a timely and professional manner for a large enterprise customer base. Systems include Windows based desktops and laptops, various network and side-by printer/scanner configurations, Citrix based thin-clients, Blackberries, trouble ticketing system and several other user and network devices and peripherals.
