Managing a portfolio of projects to support mainframe and server decommissioning. This involved leading about 10 project-focused teams to migrate legacy data, reports and business processes to an enterprise data warehouse. In the Flight Controls Core Software department in the Engineering & Technology division, I led a mixed, global team of in-house and.
As chair of the Marketing Committee, I lead a group of volunteers who market events and programs that serve the congregation. I also serve as a member of the Endowment Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, and the Leadership Training and Support Team.
As a contract Systems Engineer, I provided "greybeard" leadership to the Systems Engineering Integration Team within the Flight Controls Systems group. We developed system requirements for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter flight controls. I later moved over to project management services to support the Engineering Director.
I was responsible to prepare the infrastructure, the facility and personnel for system testing on Saturday 1/1/2000 regardless of external events. I coordinated contributions from all departments to develop a risk plan that could respond to any foreseeable event except "rioting in the streets". Afterward, I closed the $1.6 million project with reports to.

In response to the impacts of growth in the area, I led the formation of a committee to incorporate a new city in the county to the east of Renton, WA. This proved fortunate because 2 years later the state changed the tax laws and the city would have declared bankruptcy.
During a very turbulent time in the School District, I served 4 years on the Board, 1 year as the President. In my second year, we divested the district of our technical college.
