As an innovative, out of the box thinker, Mr. Spann has over 25 years of experience providing state-of-the-art IT services and solutions for IBM’s clients in commercial and public sectors. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP ®). In his current role as the North America Cross Platform Solution Leader, Mr. Spann and his team focus on client-centered innovative technical solution design to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. From 2007 to 2017, Mr. Spann held several leadership roles across IBM Public Sector including Federal Pre-Sales Solution Engineering Leader, Systems Engineering/Architecture & Test Leader, Infrastructure Development Leader, Integrated Technology Services Leader, and Application Management Services Leader.From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Spann was Director of Business Operations for Global Operations, which included the following Line of Business in IBM Global Services: Application Management Services, Strategic Outsourcing, Integrated Technology Services, e-business Hosting, Assets Innovation, Alliances, and Global Networks.From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Spann took an assignment to start up the World Wide Applications Management Services Line of Business as the Business Operations Manager, establishing world wide on-going management (metrics and measurements) system; investment program using a global Integrated Project Management Team; global customer satisfaction and customer reference programs.From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Spann managed the deployment of a Tivoli product suite for Notes Server Monitoring and Management.In 1996 Mr. Spann took an assignment in IBM Global Services as a Client Solutions Executive in support of the Aerospace Industry working with US based clients providing IT Management Services.
