Plan and implement OHS policies and programs. Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics! Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis. While serving in this unit responsibilities include but were not limited to the following: investigation of violations of agency policy, allegations of misuse of public office, uses of force and control by officers, and/or accusations of criminal wrongdoing by members of their departments.Conducting interviews and interrogationsWriting investigative reportsProviding courtroom testimonyTestifying at employment hearingsMaking recommendations to command personnelCivil Division - 2017While serving in this unit I was responsible for service, processing, and execution of all Criminal/Civil Process of the Pinal County Superior Court, this included subpoenas, writs of execution, garnishment, restitution, replevins and attachment, orders of protection and injunctions against harassment, as well as various other in- and out-of-state court documents.Additionally, I also performed duties to include collection of delinquent tax bills forwarded from the County Assessor’s Office and services of warrants generated by Sheriff’s Office action, including child custody and child support warrants.

The Arizona Vehicle Theft Task Force (AVTTF) or “RATTLER” (Regional Auto Theft Team Law Enforcement Response) serves as a statewide resource for the investigation of property crimes involving vehicles and related components. Working alongside the National Insurance Crime Bureau {NICB} supporting any investigations that would have a criminal element related to auto theft. The Task Force provides technical expertise, training and investigative support to law enforcement agencies targeting vehicle theft and related crimes. The Task Force is comprised of state, county, and local law enforcement agencies and private company partners participating in a concerted effort to identify, apprehend, and prosecute individuals and criminal organizations that profit from the theft of motor vehicles and related crimes. During my 3-year assignment with the Arizona Auto Theft Task Force I was part of many large-scale investigations that involved other states and jurisdictions. Assisting the National Insurance Crime Bureau {NICB} by repatriating vehicles from the Country of Mexico which were stolen in the US. Investigating fraudulent theft reports and bringing criminal charges forward on persons who were involved with any portion of that fraud scheme related to auto theft. Investigating persons involved with VIN Switched vehicles. Investigating businesses involved in “Chop Shops” to include junk yards, Body shops, Car dealerships and personal sale of vehicles.
