As a CEO for 38 years, I've come to realize that directing one’s passion is fundamental to leadership development.I used to think that the key to growth was finding and following one’s passion. This notion was shortsighted, in that unfiltered passion produces huge blindspots in understanding. It inevitably results in creating self-inflicted resistance to the personal and professional growth we all desire. Therefore, passion needs to be skillfully directed.I am grateful to my parents, mentors, and coaches that followed this path and likewise helped me learn how to discern, for myself, which passions were skillful and which passions were not.I enjoy coaching and team facilitation as an expression of my own practice, and gifted with clients that approach their lives and business interests similarly. I support the services with a framework that focuses on our views, intentions, actions, and results... and always in relationship to one’s foremost commitments. The process can be likened to flying a plane according to a flight plan, with course adjustments made weekly through video or audio check-ins.60 Second Video: ARE WE COMMITTED TO FAIL: https://youtu.be/PHJ0dQrktQA
