I am a passionate data scientist focused on machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP). My skills include Python, SQL, Git as well as cutting-edge libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch. I am adept at statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and model building encompassing logistic regression, decision trees, random forests and support vector machines (SVM’s). Moreover, I have mastered OpenAI GPT models for Generative AI with techniques of fine-tuning. My experience with big data technologies such as PySpark, Hadoop, and AWS cloud services allows me to build scalable AI solutions.I was involved in several impactful projects during my internship at Innomatics Research Labs Pvt. Ltd., where I worked as a Data Scientist. One of which improved video subtitle search relevance and accessibility by developing an advanced search algorithm using ChromaDB. Additionally, I developed ML models for practical purposes like real-time phishing site URL predictor and sentiment analysis of product reviews. Furthermore, LangChain integrated with large language models (LLMs) was used to build a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system by me.One of my remarkable endeavors was the Scania APS project where I built a machine learning model using XGBoost Classifier to forecast failures in air pressure system in trucks. This FastAPI-deployed model achieved 99.6% accuracy and thus has made it possible to make predictions in real-time. Likewise, I refined Falcon 7B language model with QLoRA for an e-commerce Q&A system better handling and responding to user queries. Also, I used Milvus Vector database and Streamlit to develop an intelligent chatbot for legal guidance within the Indian legal system.I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application (BCA) from Punjabi University and certifications in advanced data analysis as well as machine learning. My passion for utilizing data for solving real-life problems by turning them into actionable insights is deep-rooted. Being aware of the latest AI trends and technologies is important because I think that constant growth and innovation are fundamental parts of successful solutions’ development process.
