With more than 23 years of experience in education, I have specialized in innovative approaches and practices as well as professional development programs, instructional design, instructional leadership and technology integration. I completed undergraduate and graduate studies at METU Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department and PhD at Bahçeşehir University Educational Technologies Department. I worked in various positions as an expert and leader in prestigious institutions such as Robert College, Enka Schools, IELEV Schools and METU Development Foundation Schools. I am currently working as a school head at Private TAŞ Schools.I am the author of Öğretmen 2.0 - Teacher 2.0 (2016), Tasarımcı Öğretmen 2.0 - Designer Teacher 2.0 (2017), Geleceği Kodlayanlar - Coding the Future (2018), Her Öğretmen İnovatiftir - Every Teacher is Innovative (2019), Uzaktan Eğitim Şart - Distance Education is a Must (2020) and Eğitimde Google Şifreleri - Google Codes in Education (2021). My seventh book “Instructional Leadership” will be published in August 2024. I was selected as one of the most successful female educators of the year in the field of technology in Turkey by KAGIDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association) and Microsoft. I received the necessary training for a leadership position in an international school through the International School Leadership Certificate program organized by the internationally prestigious Principals Training Center (PTC). I am Turkey's only “Adobe Education Leader” at K12 level, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer and Microsoft Innovator Expert.Since 2019, I have been working as a trainer in the “Instructional Leadership” module of the “School Leadership” program organized in cooperation with ERG (Education Reform Initiative) and Sabancı EDU and in the “Designer Teacher in the 21st Century” program. Since 2018, I have been actively involved in organizing conferences, seminars, workshops and preparing reports to be submitted to the Ministry of National Education in the primary and secondary school commissions of the Private Schools Association of Turkey. Between 2020-2022, I led the team that designed and implemented the online “Basic Thinking Skills” teacher professional development program prepared in collaboration with ERG, TÜSİAD and Sebit. The process and outputs of this study were later included in my doctoral dissertation titled “Redesigning, Developing and Validating a Teacher Professional Development Program Fostering Critical Thinking Skills for Online Delivery”.
