I am a junior finance major at Miami University Farmer School of Business and a dedicated student actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance with a career focus in commercial banking. My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by my active participation in the Phi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) business fraternity, the Commercial Banking Club, and the Delta Chi fraternity.As a member of PSE, I have forged valuable connections with peers and honed my leadership skills through various organizational roles. I have been able to take part in projects that have required me to practice the skills I have learned in the classroom such as Excel, SQL, and financial forecasting to help complete the job for real clients. Simultaneously, my involvement in the Commercial Banking Club demonstrates my proactive approach to staying informed about industry trends and engaging with professionals in the field. These extracurricular activities complement my academic pursuits, showcasing a well-rounded student who is not only committed to theoretical learning but also actively seeks practical experience and networking opportunities. I had a great time at my 2023 summer internship at Summit Insurance Agency and will use the skills and experience I gained from that to continue growing my technical and professional skills as a financial analyst at Textron Aviation this upcoming summer!
