Part of the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency's Senior Leadership Team. Led disaster recovery planning and emergency response cost recovery efforts in response to COVID-19.

Oversaw the development and implementation of a comprehensive resilience strategy to prepare the nation’s capital for climate change, technological disruption, and a changing economy. Served as a senior advisor to the Mayor and other members of her cabinet on policy designed to ensure that all residents of the District of Columbia thrive in the face of change.
