I began my IT career in 2002 and transitioned to Cyber Security in 2004. Throughout the years, I’ve cultivated a solid foundation across various aspects of information security, initially focusing on network and perimeter security. My collaborative approach extends beyond technical realms to close collaboration with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams. This collaboration, coupled with my expertise, earned me the CISSP certification in 2017, showcasing my comprehensive understanding of security domains within organizational contexts.Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated a commitment to growth, transitioning from technical support roles for Check Point firewalls to managing network security teams for leading online brokerage firms. Most recently, I’ve been delivering cloud-based security solutions as a professional services engineer.Over the past 4 years, I’ve specialized in cloud security, assisting clients across various industries. From small organizations to large enterprises with over 100,000 users, I’ve particularly focused on leveraging Netskope, a leading provider in the SSE space according to Gartner MQ. My expertise lies in seamlessly integrating Netskope with major Identity Providers like Okta, Azure, and AWS, and configuring essential security components such as SWG, CASB, ZTNA, Cloud Firewall, and Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) according to best practices. Upon implementing access controls, I’ve enhanced security with ATP and highly accurate DLP profiles, ensuring sensitive data remains protected while minimizing false positives for SOC and analyst teams. Additionally, I’ve gained experience with the the SASE framework, particularly through SD-WAN solutions from a networking perspective.Motivated by a desire to specialize further, I am driven to further master a comprehensive set of skills essential for cloud security engineering. This includes an even deeper mastery in major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. I aim to deepen my understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies. Additionally, I’m dedicated to mastering scripting languages like Python and PowerShell, alongside monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor along with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
