Additionally, I managed the entire temporary employee process, which involved sourcing potential candidates through a variety of channels, such as referrals, law schools, internet job postings, newspaper advertisements, and employment agencies. All candidates were assessed using Quiz software, and I conducted interviews to evaluate their skill sets and qualifications. I also facilitated new hire orientations on a weekly basis and provided training to new employees. Additionally, I served as a backup trainer in the absence of the primary trainer. In the realm of benefits administration, I expertly handled inquiries and complaints, processed benefit claims, and assisted with benefits and auditing during dependent and annual enrollment periods. I managed benefit data through the HRIS database, coordinated health seminars, and processed and distributed 401(k) checks. My knowledge extended to FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA, and Worker's Compensation regulations.Furthermore, I oversaw employee relations programs, including United Way initiatives, referral bonuses, baby bonds, wedding gifts, and corporate employee discounts. I interpreted company policies and procedures for employees and conducted six-week follow-up interviews with employees as part of our retention strategy.
