My job here was to maintain the Cross-Cultural Leadership and Development Floor in the Student Union and assist students organization located in that department should they need it. I also acted as an assistant to University staff that operated on that floor advising student organizations and leadership programs.

Greater Boston Area

I was trained to and successfully led presentations on colorectal, cervical and breast cancer to different immigrant populations in the Boston area.I assisted in signing up uninsured immigrants with health insurance helping to close the cultural gap for immigrants who needed assistance in navigating the healthcare system. I was also responsible for composing newsletters, brochures, and a video testimonials to be used at promotional events and community health fairs where I interacted with people providing information about health and preventative care.I assisted planning the first community Banquet for the organization where I worked as a staff member to oversee the success of the event.
